Guess Who's Back (Hint: it's Me)

Hey, it's me again! I'm Noura Attah, a 15-year-old who goes to Fort Lauderdale High School. I spend most of my free time drawing and playing lacrosse. I have now done two projects in this class and have had so much fun doing so. I have learned so many different skills in just these past couple months. I have always had an interest in doing film and directing, but never known how to get into it. So, I am beyond thrilled that I get to do these projects. So far, I have done both a commercial and a music video for this class. I feel like I have gained experience in the field of directing by completing these projects. I have also learned how to edit and improve my mistakes as I film.

However, I think I am the most excited for this task than I have been for any of the past projects. I consider myself to be a huge film geek. So, I have seen a variety of opening scenes for movies and short films. In many cases, these introductions are my favorite part of the film. In my opinion, the opening scene before the movie truly begins, sets the scene for the entire rest of the film. It can be suspenseful, scary, and/or captivating. No matter their main purpose, they always get me excited for the movie I am about to watch. I am also excited to come up with a plot that will be fun to create into the opening of a movie. Hopefully, I can use the skills I have learned by doing other tasks in this class, to succeed with this one. Nevertheless, I'm sure it will be another great experience to be a part of.
