Our Pitch

 Pitch A: Sleepover Turned Tragedy

Teenage girls at a sleepover play ghost games. One girl accuses her brother of flickering the lights. When she goes to check, she is murdered.

Pitch B: A Love from the Past

A woman goes on a date. As the night goes on, she realizes her date is her childhood bestfriend whom she thought she'd never see again.

The first pitch is a thriller about young girls at a sleepover that takes a dark turn. It is an extremely doable option. It would be easy to film because it has a common setting of a bedroom. So, we can film in any one of our bedrooms. This is also beneficial because if the plans change and we are unable to go to one of our rooms, we can just go to someone else's. Also, the characters are all teenagers. Therefore, it will be easier to act as them since we are teenagers ourselves.

The second pitch is a rom com about a woman's unexpected date. It is also possible to successfully execute this pitch. Some challenges that might arise during production are location issues. The main setting would ideally be at a fancy restaurant or brunch spot. So, we would have to drive to a place that best fit that ambience, which does not leave much leeway for location changes. Also, we would have to edit the clips to show a flashback to when the woman and man first met. Different costumes and props would have to be used to best convey such a time jump.

We choose "The Sleepover Turned Tragedy" as our final pitch because it is easier to execute successfully and smoothly at our age. Also, it presents less issues regarding location in comparison to our other pitch.
