Hey...We're Doing It!

Well, hello there! Welcome back to my blog. This week, I was able to film some more with my group! In my previous blog, I explained how I filmed the indoor scenes at my groupmates house. I got to see my group this week and we filmed some more scenes on top of this. We were able to film a good chunk of our other scenes.

I directed all the scenes that we filmed on this day. First, I decided what scenes would make the most sense to film. I decided that we should first film the scene where Hunter and Kaz are walking down the street. So, we went outside of Hunter's house and onto the road by his driveway. I directed Kaz and Hunter to specific spots on the road. This way, it looked like they were actually walking somewhere, like it was described in the storyboard. So, I shot them from a tracking shot of then walking from the back for this scene.

Then, next my group and I decided to refilm a scene that we filmed the day before. Prior, I filmed the scene where Hunter and Kaz are sitting on the bed. In this scene, they are bored and looking for something to do. However, while we were filming the outside scenes, I was rewatching this take to make sure it made sense. While I was rewatching it, I realized that there were too many clips for one shot and I should have just filmed it in one continuous take. So, once, I realized this, I asked my groupmates if we could go back inside and refilm it. They watched the clip too, and they agreed! So, we went back inside Hunter's room so I could reshoot the scene and it came out great!

By this time, it was pretty late in the day so we decided to wrap it up on production for the day. Although we still have a way to go, we are making great production progress!
