Production is not for the Weak!
Hello, reader! As always, welcome back to my blog! I am glad you were able to stop by again. There are a few thing that have changed since you were last here. For example, my group and I were only able to film a small portion of our short film yesterday. Today, we were planning on finishing the production, but we are all very busy with a studying for a test in another class. So, none of us really prioritized the short film getting made. However, I do want to finish it soon because I love the editing process that comes after production finishing.
Also, speaking of the editing process, it is very tedious. Since I am usually in charge of the editing of a media project, I am worried for a few reasons. One thing that I am worried about is that I will run out of time and not finish editing the final short film. Since the short film has to not look choppy, I am worried if we do not finish production fast enough and I have to edit a rushed piece of media, it will end up looking messy. So, hopefully we can finish the end of production for the short film relatively soon. By doing so, nothing will be rushed. Also, we won't feel pressured to make everything perfect.
So, unfortunately we could not finish filming today. But we have planned to film again sometime during the week, afterschool. Since we already filmed all the indoor scenes at Hunter's house, only the outdoor scenes are left to film. So, if the weather permits during the week, afterschool, my group and I should be able to shoot the outdoor scenes in our short film! I'll keep you updated, but let's hope for clear, sunny skies all week!
