Props:
Since my group and I decided to do a Celsius commercial, a Celsius can will be our main prop. However, other props will include lacrosse sticks, lacrosse balls, a goal, and a speaker.
Costumes:
Our commercial features two subjects. Our actors would wear lacrosse practice jerseys and athletic shorts. They would also wear cleats for shoes and lacrosse goggles. Our actors would wear their hair up and out of their face, most likely in a ponytail.
Schedule:
On 9/27/22, our group researched the conventions and codes of energy drink commercials.
On 9/30/22, our group established the props, costumes, schedule, location list, and backup plan for filming.
On 10/2/22, our group will create the storyboard for our 30-second-long commercial.
On 10/3/22, our group will film and record the shots for our commercial.
On 10/4/22, our group will edit the footage and add the finishing touches to the commercial.
Location List:
Our main location is a football field. We will film our actors on the side of the field as well as actually on it playing lacrosse. They will be doing things like putting on their shoes and putting on their goggles on the side of the field, and once they’re on the field they will be taking shots at the goal. This would emphasize how much energy Celsius gives you and how much better you feel at practice after you drink it.
Our second location is the parking lot outside of the football field. At this location we will film one of our actors arriving to practice with low energy and walking to the field. This will show the change in her energy once she drinks Celsius.
Backup Plan:
If the weather is not good or preferable, then we will find a new day to film. We plan to film during our lacrosse practice and our actors are on the team, and since we have practice three times a week, there are many opportunities to film. If either of the actors we have chosen are not present, then we will get another person on our lacrosse team to replace them.
