Let the Production Begin! Or not?
Hello! Welcome back to my blog, I know it's been a while since I last posted! My group and I have been working towards filming and production in general. I am very eager to start production and follow our planned dates for filming. However, things have not exactly been going to plan up to this point. Several factors keep stopping us from being able to meet up for filming.
The main problem is that my groupmates and I are constantly busy. I am a junior in high school who has a very demanding workload. I, as well as my groupmates, are in Advanced Placement classes. These classes are very rigorous and take up most of my time outside of school and on the weekends. The reason for this is because these classes often give big tests that I need to study for all weekend to get a good grade on. This has prevented my group and I from being able to film because I am typically busy studying for these classes and have no time to film!
Another reason why I have not been able to film with my group this past week is because my house is currently under renovation. I volunteered my house to be the "production house" because it is two-stories and pretty spacious. So, I figured that it would make the most sense to film at my house and be able to film with more space. I know, great idea, right?! Wrong. As it turns out, the flooring in my house is getting replaced. It would be really difficult to film at my house while the floorboards are being ripped out! So, I told my groupmates and decided that we should begin production a different day. They agreed.
So, because of my busy schedule and house dilemma, I have not been able to start production yet. Don't worry, it's only a matter of time until I can put these roadblocks behind me and get to filming!
